Today, BMW of North America announced via a press release that it has won the bid to supply electric vehicles to the Los Angeles Police Department. BMW will provide 100 fully-electric BMW i3s for use in the LAPD's transportation fleet. Though it may still be one of the newest rides on the roster, it seems to us at BMW of Birmingham that the 2016 BMW X5 xDrive40e is wasting very little time in making a name for itself.
