With the Consumer Electronics Show coming to a close today, we can reflect on the technology we got to see come out of it. We didn't just get to see wearable technology, we got to see drivable technology.

The BMW i3 isn't new to the automotive world, but some folks got to see the car up close. Two couples were shown some features that made them say 'wow.' With a blindfold on, one couple got to drive around with the i3 doing the braking in the event they were headed for a collision. Not just that, but the car also sensed when something was too close, even in the blind spots. The other couple got to see how the push of a button could mean so much for their parking woes.

With only a touch, the car will maneuver into a parking space and do so with real precision. Can you imagine having the freedom to park anywhere and not pass up that perfect spot because it would require digging up your driver's ed training? Ah, the places you could go!
