        The transition to the mid-engine design was long overdue, yet once arrived, GM did get it reasonably right for the 1st year production of the 2020 C-8. Some true Corvette owners will say it's not a "real" Corvette but unless you have owned it, driven it in a variety of conditions, felt the totally new difference from the previous generations, don't be so hasty to codemn what you have no real worl experience with. We have owned C-2, C-3, C-5 and now the C-8 generations of these fabulous cars. This generation turns heads of people looking in and spins heads of the driver behind the wheel. 0 to 60 in 2.8 seconds, 495 hp from the factory, Tremec 8 speed dual clutch transmission and a list of options to rival the European supercars at a fraction of the cost. It is irritating that the cars are selling at $25,000 to $30,000 over sticker. My 3LT with the Z-51 Performance Pack and all available options including the carbon fiber roof panel listed at $89,789.65 but I paid $117,797.00 for the car and it was worth every penny. We have had Corvettes, Porsche 718, Mercedes SL550, BMW 330i, Mustang, Cadillac, Lincoln (gag), and others so we have a pretty good comparative base knowledge. This car is the coolest, fastest, most fun car we have ever owned - period!!…

        The 2021 Corvette is the most addictive vehicle I have ever driven. It constantly begs for more ... more power, more high G handling, more tuned exhaust sounds, more acceleration, it just keeps delivering. Ferrari in a $60K US production car! Who would have imagined this could happen? No more boring drives to work, or the grocery store ... and room for the groceries. There is a reason this is the best selling car in the US now, I'm a testament to that. Chevrolet hit a grand slam homer with this car!…
